On July 11, 2025, due to the rainy and humid environment, the equipment used in the grass sliding project, such as grass sliding carts and rubber friction blocks, are susceptible to water vapor, which may cause brake failure and other malfunctions, resulting in the equipment not functioning properly. This type of situation will seriously affect the safety control during the sliding process, significantly increase the risk of accidents such as collisions and rollovers, and pose a threat to the personal safety of tourists.

Due to emergency road construction, the self driving entrance (east gate) of Kalajun Grassland will be closed from 18:00 on May 3, 2025. After overnight repairs, all construction has been completed and the east gate will resume normal traffic from today onwards. Self driving vehicles can enter normally.
