Crocodile Bay is located in the central part of the Kuoksu Grand Canyon scenic area and is a famous scenic spot called "Crocodile Bay". It is named after the mountains there, which resemble two crocodiles floating on the water surface. The river water in Kuoksu Grand Canyon comes from the snow peak on the southern slope of the Tianshan Mountains. The snow water carries a large amount of calcium carbonate rock powder and rushes down to Crocodile Bay. After reaching Crocodile Bay, the flow rate decreases due to the influence of the natural flow between the river valleys and the return water of Karajun Lake. The calcium carbonate in the river water settles, and the water quality becomes clear. In addition, the mineral rich water quality reflects the sky and mountain colors, resulting in color changes. Therefore, the water in "Crocodile Bay" presents three colors: milky white, emerald green, and green, forming a "three color wonder". A more distinct water color boundary is formed around the return water line.
