世界遗产展示中心

The World Heritage Exhibition Center, according to the management requirements of World Heritage, must build a museum in any area with World Heritage sites to showcase the resource value of World Heritage to people. The exhibition center in Karajun mainly displays the culture, customs, and natural resource characteristics of the Karajun nomadic people and the Tianshan Mountains in Xinjiang.
Taking this World Natural Heritage Exhibition Center as the dividing line, we enter the buffer zone of Tianshan World Natural Heritage Site. On June 21, 2013, the 37th World Heritage Conference of UNESCO approved the inclusion of the "Tianshan Mountains in Xinjiang" in the World Natural Heritage List. The total area of the East Karajun Scenic Area is 12 square kilometers, making it the area with the richest biodiversity and the highest aesthetic value in the Tianshan World Heritage Site in Xinjiang. The snow capped peaks and canyons in the scenic area are shining, forests and grasslands are embedded, and the five flowers bloom in spring and summer, with colorful hues. Under the reflection of the morning sun and sunset, the lines are soft and the layers are distinct, forming an unparalleled artistic painting! This natural beauty endows people with boundless dreams, and also makes the East Karajun Scenic Area one of the iconic landscapes of the Tianshan Mountains in Xinjiang.
Karajun is located in the hinterland of the Eurasian continent, where various flora and fauna converge, possessing the world's top natural resources of its kind. It is not only the origin and best habitat area of global snow spruce and Central Asian wild fruit forests, but also the most typical representative of the global temperate arid mountainous landscape and the Central Asian Tianshan mountain grassland grassland. It is also an important breeding habitat for wildlife in the Tianshan Mountains, with a total of 223 species of wild vertebrates, including 21 species of fish, 5 species of amphibians, 15 species of reptiles, 123 species of birds, and 59 species of mammals belonging to 29 orders, 66 families, and 156 genera. Wild animals are mostly rare and endangered, among which 144 species are included in the IUCN Red List of Species (2010), such as the alpine vulture, long eared cuckoo, pink terror bird, prairie otter, grassland, white shouldered eagle, black eagle falcon, blue breasted Buddhist monk, ferret, tiger ferret, otter, snow leopard, argali, Yili pika, etc. The Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES) (2010) includes 5 species in Appendix I and 3 species in Appendix II, and 50 species in the National Key Protected Wildlife List (1988) and Level II. The "Red List of Biological Species in China" (2006) includes 48 species, making it a true seed bank for plants in temperate arid regions. The main plants include wild tulips, Tian Shan Wu, Tian Shan Hong Fan, Tian Shan Hua Qiu, Huang Hua Long Dan, Tian Shan Dian Di Mei, Pianhua Bao Chun, Bai Hua Lao Guan Cao, Gao Shan Aster, Tian Xuan Hua, Tian Shan Cui Que Hua, Mao Shi Jin Lian Hua, etc.
