Flower Terrace, Karajun Tourism's distinctive "Five Flower Meadow". The "Five Flower Meadow" is a typical "high mountain Five Flower Meadow" grassland of the Karajun genus, with a high platform landform that slopes southward as a whole, like a suspended grassland. The slope is gentle and boundless, like a beautiful blue carpet that stretches all the way to the foot of the snowy Tianshan Mountains. The soil layer is deep, fertile, the temperature is suitable, the precipitation is abundant, and the grass grows well. There are 105 kinds of high-quality grass growing in the "Five Flower Meadow", and the grass grows dense and low. From April to May, the grass is lush and green, and the earth is covered with green fluffy blankets; from June to July, the flowers are like brocade, gorgeous and colorful, and the grassland blooms in the ocean; from August to October, the autumn grass turns yellow, the shrubs turn red, and the gentle hills stretch continuously. The golden border showcases the beauty of the colors of the Five Flower Grassland The main plants include Tian Shan Wu, Hai Poppy, Huang Hua Long Dan, Tian Shan Dian Di Mei, Pianhua Bao Chun, Bai Hua Lao Guan Cao, Gao Shan Aster, Tian Shan Xuan Hua, Tian Shan Cui Que Hua, Altai Jin Lian Hua, etc.
From mid June to mid September every year is the golden season for the Karajun grassland. At this time, about 200000 livestock from counties such as Tekes and Gongliu were relocated here to escape the heat and catch them. Even the delicate sheep of Gongnaisi Sheep Farm use this place as a summer retreat, and we call it the 'Hawaii' of animals. At the "Five Flowers Meadow" viewing platform, follow the direction indicated by the ecological natural path to the "Flower Terrace", where you can enjoy the "Plant Vertical Band Spectrum".
The terrain of Karajun is complex, with vast flat surfaces deeply penetrated by rivers running from east to west, north to south. From the mountaintop to the valley, there are significant vertical differences in climate, presenting different vegetation distribution patterns and rules, forming a typical vertical vegetation belt spectrum of Central Asian mountains. Within a horizontal distance of 90 kilometers, seven complete vertical natural zones have emerged from top to bottom, including ice and snow belts, alpine cushion vegetation belts, alpine meadow belts, subalpine meadow belts, mountainous coniferous forest belts, mountainous grassland belts, and temperate desert grassland belts. Among them, there are two sub zones developed in the lower part of the mountainous coniferous forest belt: the mountainous coniferous broad-leaved mixed forest belt composed of mixed forests of spruce and wild fruit forests in Xueling, and the mountainous broad-leaved forest belt composed of mixed forests of wild fruit forests and mountain small leaf forests.
The yellow flowers on both sides of the road are mainly dandelions and hairy golden lotus flowers. Dandelions are familiar to everyone, so I will focus on introducing hairy golden lotus flowers. This flower mainly grows on mountain grass slopes, waterfront grasslands or forests at an altitude of 2400-4100 meters, and can be used to treat rheumatism and lymphatic diseases
Diseases such as tuberculosis.
After a while, everyone will arrive at the viewing platform of the Flower Terrace and see many purple flowers that look like hydrangeas. This flower is the Tianshan Primula. Due to the high altitude of the Flower Terrace at around 2600 and the recent low temperature, the grass on the Flower Terrace is not very green, but the Primula has already bloomed. Looking around, there is a light purple flower sea on the grassland that extends all the way to the foot of the Tianshan Mountains, which is very spectacular.
