According to Sima Qian's "Records of the Grand Historian", after Princess Xijun and Princess Jieyou married Wusun, they built the magnificent and vast Karajun Grassland on the vast grasslands south of the Tekes River, which is consistent with historical records. The story of Xijun and Jieyou Princess has also been passed down in this area: it is said that every summer, they come here with the Wusun King to escape the heat, and this pool has become a place for them to fetch water, play in water, and drink horses, so it is called "Princess Pool".
Princess Pool Service Area, also known as "Wanna", means "bath pool" in Kazakh language. Due to the relatively low terrain in this area, surrounded by numerous hills, there are many clear springs and rainwater flowing into it, forming a natural water pool. Due to the scarcity of water resources on the grassland, wild animals often drink and play in the water here. Herdsmen also have a special emotional attachment to water, often fetching water and providing water for their livestock. Shepherd children also play in the water here. At the same time, herdsmen regard cattle and sheep as treasures and have specially built a algae washing pool for sheep to bathe and disinfect. Therefore, local herdsmen call this place "Wanna"
